Foundations

Job uses the word foundations to describe creation of the earth. Proverbs does the same thing. Foundation is the bases of what we have to build on- as far as structure from chord progressions to the transforamtion of our very lives! (Luke 6:48) The church (Eph 2:20) and our finances (1 Tim 6:17-19) and God’s truth (2 Tim 2:19) This is a worship song based on Proverbs 9. You are invited into a house of wisdom designed by God himself. He has laid the foundation right here, right now from where you are standing. Make this House church your Home where God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit can dwell. Look up…

Lord in the morniing I direct my prayer unto you

and I will look up!

Psalm 5:3- sing that again.

Lord in the morniing I direct my prayer unto you

and I will look up.

and I watch for you.. I do

I watch for you.

Foundations

Poet: Richard Beattie

Built to last this strong foundation

Everlasting a home to the wise

Forget the past all you nations

never ending is the new sunrise

Let it rise! Let is rise!

Run fast past your old temptations

passing the ways of lying eyes

The downcast of low reputation

need a word from our Lord on High

Let it rise, Let’s all rise with the sun

Let it rise, we will rise with the son!

Chorus:

And on to the bright sky, look upward

Bring praise towards the sky

and on your mind look forward

sing out to the Lord on High

Let it rise! Let us rise to the things he calls us to

Rise!

Bridge: On your lips bring your offering

Worthy of all the songs we sing

and on every heart to Him we bring

our everything, Bring my everything!

Building up from this strong foundation

everlasting is the Word to the wise

reaching outward to all of the nations

Give Glory to the Lord most high

Let it rise- Let it rise

Let His song rise, above us all

Let’s rise.

Chorus:

And on to the bright sky, look upward

Bring praise towards the sky

and on your mind look forward

Giving Glory to the Lord most high

We will die to ourselves, we will rise with the Son,

Spirit of God fill me, Fill us Lord Jesus! 2 x

All rise, we rise precious Lord, our eyes on you

We rise, sunrise, we put our trust in you!

“For he (Abraham) was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God…” Hebrews 11:10

Invitations of Wisdom and Folly

9 Wisdom has built her house;
she has set up[a] its seven pillars.
2 She has prepared her meat and mixed her wine;
she has also set her table.
3 She has sent out her servants, and she calls
from the highest point of the city,
4 “Let all who are simple come to my house!”
To those who have no sense she says,
5 “Come, eat my food
and drink the wine I have mixed.
6 Leave your simple ways and you will live;
walk in the way of insight.”

The foundations of our lives, the foundations of our creation and what Jesus wants to build in us!

We are the church. God wants to build His temple inside of you. When someone asks what does the church look like? It resembles and is made in the image of God and there is a strong family resembling His eyes. When you look at people today, look for the family eyes. Fix your eyes.

Verse 1:
G D Em6
Turn your eyes upon Jesus
C Am7 Dsus D
Look full in His wonderful face
G E/F Em6
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
C D Em6
In the light of His glory and grace
C D G
In the light of His glory and grace.

 Fairest Lord Jesus

Verse 1:
C G C C/E F G C
Fairest Lord Jesus, Ruler of all nature
C F C/E Dm C G
O Thou of God and man, the Son
Em Dm G C
Thee will I cherish, Thee will I honor
C/E G C
Thou, my soul's glory, joy and crown.

Verse 2:
Fair are the meadows, fairer still the woodlands
Robed in the blooming garb of spring;
Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer
Who makes the woeful heart to sing.

Verse 3:
Fair is the sunshine, fairer still the moonlight,
And all the twinkling starry host;
Jesus shines brighter, Jesus shines purer
Than all the angels heav'n can boast.

Verse 4:
Beautiful Savior! Lord of the nations!
Son of God and Son of man!
Glory and honor, praise, adoration
Now and forevermore be Thine!

Meadowgrass

Richard Beattie

Meadowgrass and other things that last

replace the hissing lawns that hedge away my past

Growing trees, farmers on their knees, afresh with prayer

bring new melodies- grow it in me, build it in me

a new house of worship in my veins

let it flow out of me this day.

And this is my song for you

this is your song of truth

Moment of truth

our song to you

and this is my song to you

this is your song of truth

this is our moment of truth

this is our song.

Lives planted and nourished and guided

nourished still- your perfect will in me

minds granted wisdom’s call

spreading out to the land to all

Harvest fall

And this is my song for you

this is your song of truth

Moment of truth

our song to you

and this is my song to you

this is your song of truth

this is our moment of truth

this is our song.

Flowers planted against the wailing wall

reminds us all of the battle worth fighting for our children’s lives

Pictures are painted in backdrops of faces of one and all

the ones who were taken too soon and the ones who survived.

and you were the one who gave your life

In the meadowgrass the time won’t last

a dancing child barefoot and twirling in the past

the growing trees, grow taller with prayers of the farmers on their knees

the fresh poetry that you grew in me

won’t you build it in me- this new house of worship that flows out of my veins.

And this is my song for you

this is your song of truth

Moment of truth

our song to you

and this is my song to you

this is your song of truth

this is our moment of truth

this is our song.
